Puget Sound Educational Service District seeks a Family Advocate Manager to work with staff and families across our Early Learning direct service sites, including Educare Seattle and Heritage Head Start co-located in White Center, Early Head Start (EHS) Home-Based in Pierce County, and EHS at Washington Corrections Center for Women in Pierce County. This position will be located at the Puget Sound ESD facility in White Center.

Minimum (Required) Qualifications
• Associate’s degree and training/education in a relevant field (ECE, Family Studies, Family Child Services, Psychology/Sociology, Social Work)
• A minimum of four (4) years’ experience in early childhood education, including case management experience
• Supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Functional knowledge of full day childcare licensing requirements
• Experience in Head Start or other comprehensive child development/family support program
• Knowledge of family community resources
• Experience working with diverse cultures
• Experience with/knowledge of the opportunity gap and equity & inclusion work
Other Conditions for Employment
• Washington State Patrol/FBI fingerprint clearance
• Certification in First Aid/CPR
• Food Handler’s card
