Front Desk Manager
Paradise Bay Resort is looking for an exceptional individual to lead the Guest Service Team at our waterfront boutique resort in Kaneohe. We are looking for someone with hotel experience (Minimum 2 years GSA Supervisor experience) who is upbeat and personable with Aloha Spirit. You would manage the key areas of front desk operations, guest service, reservations, inventory management, property and guest room appearance, and sales. You must have excellent communication and organizational skills with guests and fellow team members.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: The Front Desk Supervisor serves as the lead ‘face of the resort’ and emanates Ho’okipa by representing the resort throughout all stages of the guest's stay. Must be an excellent communicator with all departments and immediately resolve guest issues to create the best guest experience. Equally important is to be sales driven to upsell rooms, managing inventory, resort, and outside activities to maximize resort revenue. Responsible for supervising all GSAs and lead by example.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:-Review daily front office work and activity reports generated by night audit.-Resolve guest problems quickly (within 24 hours), efficiently, and courteously.-Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily. Analyze rate variance and maintain close observation of daily house count. Inventory allocation. Direct and coordinate activities of the front desk, reservations, guest services, housekeeping, and maintenance departments-Train, cross-train and retrain all personnel. Recruiting & hiring, discipline.-Additional duties assigned by management
