As the ashore side engineering systems command for the Navy and Marine Corps worldwide, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) is in search of architects and facility related engineers (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and industrial) to fill vacancies throughout the organization performing a wide variety of facility related services. This includes but are not limited to master planning, facility requirements generation, design, project management, environmental restoration, compliance and permitting, construction management, cost estimation, utility system management and historic preservation. Additionally, architects and engineers will be called upon to lead major multi-billion dollar program initiatives which integrate numerous military construction and repair projects for the next quarter century. Positions are available locally to support Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam and Marine Corps Base Hawaii on Oahu and as well as Pacific Missile Range Facility on Kauai. Depending upon the position, professional registration or licensing may or may not be required.
