8-hour rotating shifts, 40 hours per week.

Description of Position

Performs resident care in accordance with established policies and procedures, and standards of nursing practice as delineated by Kuakini Geriatric Care, Inc., including rehabilitation/restorative nursing and therapeutic services.

Qualifications and Requirements

High school diploma, or equivalent, required.  Current Hawaii Nurse Aide certificate required. Current Heartsaver AED certification required, with retraining once every two years. Experience in long-term care with a rehabilitation/restorative unit preferred. Experience in meeting OBRA requirements and in the implementation of rehabilitation/restorative and/or self-care concepts preferred.
