Preschool Teacher - DHS/PATCH Early Child Registry Teacher Qualified

Provides a stimulating, safe and developmentally appropriate educational environment where children have the opportunity to develop cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills. Responsible for the daily planning, management and supervision of the classroom and children. Generally, may lead and functionally supervise an Assistant Teacher or aide. Responsible for ensuring that all parents, children and classroom staff concerns are appropriately addressed.

Qualifications: Currently registered through PATCH / Hawaii Department of Human Services (DHS) Early Childhood Registry as a GCC) Teacher. Candidates that are PATCH / DHS Early Childhood registered as both GCC Teacher and ITC Lead Caregiver are preferred.

Will consider candidates that are PATCH / DHS registered as a GCC Assistant Teacher and working on the education and experience qualifications for registry as a GCC Teacher.

Successful candidates will meet Hawaii DHS Child Care Licensing child care provider requirements, including fingerprint clearance, medical documentation, education/training, and experience.
