Foodland was founded in 1948 by the late Maurice J. “Sully” Sullivan and was the first supermarket to open in Hawaii. We currently have 33 stores and employ more than 2,900 team members at Foodland, Foodland Farms and Sack N Save. We are proud of our newly imagined grocery store concept, KAHALA MKT. by Foodland, as well as the store’s full-service in-store restaurant and bar named “et al." Our intimate, but approachable store features an expansive selection of local and organic products, mouthwatering prepared foods and "et al." is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
