Bakery Production Lead
Foster an environment of teamwork and collaboration, and an employee culture that is aligned with company core values and operating principles.
Direct, delegate and assign tasks to subordinates; train and motivate employees.
Ensures that established policies and procedure are being followed by the team members including adhering to GMP’s, food safety and quality.
Works with leads, supervisors, and managers to plan and prepare production schedule to meet deadlines
Observes products across multiple stages to ensure correct count, flavor, label accuracy and correct case packs
Performs quality control checks consistently and properly throughout the bakery production process
Ensures that raw ingredients and raw materials used are of good quality and appropriate quantity
Makes sure that all perishable items are stored and rotated properly
Ensures all bakery products and ingredients are properly labeled and dated following FIFO and best before date standard protocols
Adheres to all safety guidelines in the production and handling of materials in the factory
Reports any issues or problems with production to immediate supervisor
Participates in training and progress developments
REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
1-3 years prior management skills
2 years prior Bakery experience preferred
Represents the company brand image and share aloha to all customers, business partners, and co-workers at all levels throughout the company
Able to understand and follow oral or written work instructions
Good communication skills, written and verbal
Ability to work with employees of all levels and always maintain open communication
Ability to multi-task and time manage
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Able to stand and walk throughout the scheduled work shift
Able to carry and move at least 30-35 lb. throughout the work shift
