Reports To: Warehouse Night Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: Working in warehouse to pick, label and stack orders for customers.
Accuracy and consistency are extremely important.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions

E Pick orders as assigned using picking labels and RF gun per Picking SOP.
E Ensure all orders are picked correctly and in a timely manner
E Ensure shorts identified by checkers are corrected
E Ensure that all transactions are recorded properly within the WMS by RF where applicable.
E Picks per hour should be greater than 50 cases within 90 day orientation.
E Understand warehouse and rack numbering system.
E Work with inventory control personnel to resolve inventory accuracy issues
E Be familiar with product and able to read labels for use by and expiration dates.
E Understand and follow warehouse HACCP and Food Safety Program including related SOP's, SSOP's, GMP's.
E Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience – High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills – Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills – Mathematical Skills – Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations – Forklift Certification preferred.

Other Skills and Abilities – Minimum two (2) years of forklift experience preferred. Ability to work overtime as required to complete tasks.
