Housing Renovation Lead

Lead, assist and supervise carpenters, plumbers and electricians in installation, maintenance and repair of commercial & industrial buildings with an emphasis on Gay & Robinson (G&R) plantation homes that require a high degree of repair and often times full renovation. Lead would also assist in coordinating jobs, generally working with one to three workers on a job-by-job basis.

G&R serves approximately 350 homes and businesses in the Kaumakani and Makaweli areas on the westside of Kaua'i.  The lead is responsible for executing the preventative maintenance, new installation, repairs and general maintenant. The Lead will work under the supervision of the Renovation Manager in a team setting with Journeymen and Apprentices in different fields of trades.  Other duties may be assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

The Lead must maintain and foster a good working relationship with other maintenance and facilities managers and staff who will provide manpower and equipment needed for daily repairs and maintenance.
