Typical duties include but are not limited to:
- Support the tasks and oversight of requirements for the TOP3 Project
- Working closely with business stakeholders, observe, elicit and define business requirements to support change to process, procedures or use of software systems
- Document and communicate business requirements following FICOH established standard templates and procedures for all levels of development, enhancement and regulatory requirements of automated and manual systems
- Communicate business requirements through working sessions with ITS applications development and Quality Assurance teams. Reviews Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) and test plans and cases for comprehensiveness
- Present timely and accurate system change status updates, facilitates discussion on impact to time and costs for scope changes, resource contention and other areas which might delay project delivery
- Interfaces with other departments affected by the development, maintenance and implementation of automated and manual systems
- Conduct system test for processing applications, system discrepancies, corrections and enhancements.
- Assist in the study, recommendations and resolutions of all complexity levels of processing problems.
- Assist in the development and delivery of training for end users.
Qualifications / Experience:
- 4 year college degree or relevant work experience
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, Business and Functional requirements elicitation
- 3-4 years of business analyst experience; preferably in banking or P&C industry
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Basic proficiency in Visio (or other workflow toolset), MS Project or similar project management tools
- Applied knowledge of the software development lifecycle (waterfall or agile) in working experience
- Critical thinking and analytical skills to evaluate information and identify root causes in order to design and test possible solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a rapidly changing environment and the ability to manage multiple priorities in the same time span
