Job Announcement
The City of Medina is accepting applications for a full-time Planning and Building Assistant. The position reports directly to the Planning Director, provides support to the department with primary responsibility for administering the building permit process. Coordinates receipt and issuance of building permits, routes for review, processes payments, issues permits, and completes relevant reports. Provides customer service and administrative support to the Planning Department.
Minimum requirements: high school degree/equivalent and experience involving construction, building permits, urban planning, municipal or related field (alternatively, two years administrative experience in less related field may be considered). Starting pay range is from $28.00/hr to $31.12/hour Depends on experience/qualification, with a rich, great benefits package including 100% of the health insurance premium for full-time employees electing single coverage and up to $1,753 per month for family. Full salary range up to $33.02.
