Human Resources Manager
The City of Maumee is accepting applications for the position of Human Resources Manager. Purpose: Reporting to the City Administrator, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing employee recruitment and retention efforts, and/or coordinating benefits management, workers' compensation and health care programming. Manages all human resources policies and monitors for necessary updates. Civil Service related functions including testing, correspondence and statistical information. Assists the City Administrator in negotiating and managing collective bargaining agreements.
Qualifications: Baccalaureate degree in Human Resources or similar required. Master's degree in Human Resource Management or similar preferred. Knowledge of Department of Labor Laws, Ohio BWC procedures and safety management.
Experience: At least four years preferred.
Salary: $86,350 - $110,782, starting pay and benefits package dependent on education and experience. Benefits: Health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, Ohio Public Employees Retirement System.
