POSITION SUMMARY:
City Mill Sales Associates are responsible for ensuring that customers receive prompt, friendly, and thorough service – actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and provide assistance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Customer Service:
o Greets and assists all customers with their purchases in an expeditious and courteous manner o Learn about City Mill products and provide information to customers, in order to sell an entire
project
o Demonstrates proper use of merchandise as requested by customers, in accordance with all safety
and manufacturer instructions • Merchandising:
o Maintains the in-stock condition of assigned areas, and ensure it is clean, shop-able, and safe QUALIFICATIONS:
• Previous retail experience preferred
• Previous cashiering experience ideal
• Experience in a customer service position for twelve (12) continuous months within a hardware or home
improvement retail setting, ideal – requiring product knowledge for related industries such as construction,
landscaping, etc.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
