Customer Service


Position Summary:

Responsible for assisting customers in all areas including creating and maintaining a friendly and positive shopping experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: answering customer inquiries, assisting salespeople in finalizing paperwork, processing paperwork, processing payments, cash balancing, collecting on accounts, and assisting sales staff with warehouse issues.



  1. Provide exceptional service and experiences that turn guests into loyal customers: greet and welcome customers; provide store information; thank customers upon exit.
  2. Assist customers with inquiries and solve customer issues.
  3. Assist sales staff in finalizing sales transactions (thorough review of sales documents and sales reports).
  4. Answer all incoming calls, route to appropriate person, take messages.
  5. Assist sales staff with warehouse issues (NILs, damaged merchandise, etc.)
  6. Process all paperwork to other departments (filing, keying in, processing credit, etc.)
  7. Key in sales invoices, change slips, payments, service orders, etc.
  8. File sales invoices by delivery dates in two separate files (pending deliveries and store copies). 
  9. Separate sales invoices and distribute to appropriate departments.
  10. Process all part request and vendor charge backs for Division Manager’s approval.
  11. Transmit all finance paperwork to the finance companies.
  12. Receive and process cash, check, charge card, financial contract payments from customers.
  13. Balance the cash drawer, record it on the cash summary sheet, and ensure the securing of the monies at closing.
  14. Obtain monies from the safe with an authorized manager.
  15. Manage and eliminate store to collects.
  16. Process, print, and distribute appropriate sales and merchandising daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
  17. Assist with store promotions.
  18. Log daily sales and other metrics.
  19. Sort and send interoffice mail daily.
  20. Contact customers to reschedule delivery dates and make confirmation calls.
  21. Check office/sales supply inventory and order supplies as needed.
  22. Provide additional support to the brands as required.
  23. Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and the customer experience.
  24. Perform other related duties as assigned. 



  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.  
  3. Experience in Customer Service, Sales, or a related field.
  4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  5. Ability to learn and work with various office software and systems.
  6. Ability to use good judgement in making decisions which have significant impact on the Company’s credibility, operations, and services.
  7. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and responsibilities.
  8. Ability to work in a team environment.
  9. Sitting and/or standing for sustained periods of time and moving throughout the retail space.
  10. Must be able to lift and/or exert up to 15 pounds of force at times.


Working Conditions

  1. Air conditioned, well-lit office.
  2. Fast-paced, high energy environment.
  3. Daily deadlines (i.e., closing, balancing, transmitting, batching mail, etc.)
  4. Nights, weekends, holiday schedule may be required.
  5. Some travel may be required.

Location:  Various - Beretania, Bougainville, Kapolei, Pearlridge, Ward, Maui, Kona, Hilo

Work Hours: Full Time (including evenings, weekends, and holidays)

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
