Join Star Events for a free virtual Career Expo January 27 and 28
HONOLULU – Star Events presents a Virtual Career Expo on Wednesday and Thursday (January 27 and 28) that will allow employers and job seekers to connect in a safe environment. Due to pandemic safety guidelines, the annual in-person Career Expo at the Neal S. Blaisdell Exhibition Hall is going online, allowing the new virtual event to expand its reach to the Neighbor Islands.
Now more than ever, there is a critical need to provide innovative and alternative ways for companies and potential employees to connect. This free event allows job seekers to visit the virtual booths of many of Hawaii’s leading companies, all looking for qualified hires in a competitive recruitment marketplace. Job seekers will be able to learn about available jobs, initiate private chats with company recruiters, and upload resumes confidentially.
“Last year, thousands of people participated in our Virtual Career Expo to connect with hundreds of recruiters and HR managers throughout the state,” said Denise Ching, Classified Advertising Manager at the Honolulu Star-Advertiser. “Hundreds of people left the event with a life-changing career move or hire.”
The Hawaii Career Expo attracts some of Hawaii’s most qualified and successful applicants and has helped employers connect with talented candidates seeking employment in a variety of fields.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on January 27 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on January 28 at HawaiiCareerExpo.com
The Expo is free for attendees and registration is required. Look for the official guidebook that is posted on HawaiiCareerExpo.com
